Sonal Chauhan (Born 16 May 1987) is an Indian Actress and Model. She Won the first Indian ever to be crowned Miss World Tourism in 2005.
Sonal Chauhan Biography
Sonal completed her DPS (Delhi Public School) Noida school level education and graduated from Gargi College, Delhi, in philosophy honours.
She gained prominence after winning the 2005 competition for the Miss World Tourism title in Malaysia. It was she who became the first Indian to win the title.
She’s got two kids and an elder brother. She studied at Nodia Public School in Delhi, which is her hometown. She did Gargi College honors in philosophy, located in Delhi.
Sonal pursued modeling before stepping into the field of acting. In 2005 she became the first Indian ever to have been crowned the Miss World Tourism.

Her first screen appearance was in the movie Aap ka Suroor by Himesh Reshammiya.
After that, she was spotted at a restaurant by Kunal Deshmukh who offered her the lead actress role in her film Jannat (2008), in which she worked alongside Emraan Hashmi.
She has served in Buddha Hoga Tera Baap (2011) and, 3 G (2013), apart from Jannat.
She’s worked with Emraan Hashmi, Sonu Sood, and Neil Nitin Mukesh in her career as an actress in Hindi films.
Most of her acting career includes Telugu films here. She has played roles in Telugu films such as Rainbow (2008), Legend (2014), Sher (2015), Dictator (2016), and others.
She has been nominated four times for various awards and won only one for her role in Dictator in 2017, which is TSR TV National Film Awards for the most promising actress.
She’s signed 3 movie contracts with the Bhatts, two of which are still to be written.
