On 28 September 1985, Mouni was born in Kolkata, India. It is part of a family of Rajbongshi. Shekhar Chandra Roy, her grandfather, was a renowned Jatra Theatre artist, while Mom Mukti is well known as a theatre artist.
Mouni finished her schooling in Cooch Behar till the 12th standard, settling in Delhi. In Jamia Milia Islamia, she took part in mass communication and insisted that her parents left the course in the center and went to Mumbai in order to try her luck in Bollywood movies.
In a Punjabi movie called “Hero Hitler in Love,” Mouni appeared in 2011. After playing Sati in the fabulous Life OK show Devon Ke Dev Mahadev, she has made a big name. During this time.
she played the leading role in Life OK’s Junoon–Aisi Nafrat Toh Kaisa Ishq together with Co-Star Aditya Redij in 2013. In 2014 she participated together with Punit Pathak in a dance reality show on Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 7 TV.
