Kordell Stewart is a former professional American football player who was active in the National Football League (NFL) for eleven seasons. After graduating from high school, Stewart attended the University of Colorado, where he was a three-year starter at quarterback. In 2001, he returned to the quarterback position and was named the starter. He led the Steelers to the playoffs in 2001 and 2002 and was selected to the Pro Bowl in 2001 and 2002. After the 2003 season, Stewart was released by the Steelers and went on to play with the Chicago Bears, Baltimore Ravens, and Carolina Panthers.
