Jonathan Ive, commonly known as Jony Ive, is an English designer and the Chief Design Officer of Apple Inc. He has been the driving force behind the design of the company’s products since 1996. Jony Ive’s Life
Jony Ive was born on February 27, 1967, in London, England. He studied industrial design at Newcastle Polytechnic and later at the Royal College of Art in London, where he graduated with a Master’s degree in 1992. After graduation, he moved to the United States and worked as a consultant for Apple. In 1996, he was hired as the company’s senior vice president of industrial design.
Since then, Ive has been the driving force behind the design of Apple’s products, such as the iMac, iPod, iPhone, and iPad. He has also been responsible for the design of Apple’s retail stores and the design of the company’s packaging. Ive was promoted to Chief Design Officer in 2015.
