Hannah Waddingham (Born November 16, 1974) is a British Actress and Singer. She is famous for the role of Septa Unella in the hit HBO series Game of Thrones.

Nevertheless, she is best known for her interpretation of Spamalot’s Lady of the Lake (in London production and then on Broadway); for her efforts, she was nominated for the Olivier Award.
She won outstanding praise for her depiction of Desirée Armfeldt in the acclaimed adaptation of A Little Night Music by Trevor Nunn, including being described as the “Joanna Lumley of musical theatre” by one critic.
In 2010 Waddingham was consequently nominated for Best Actress in a Musical for her role in Night Music by another Olivier Award. In mid-2010, Waddingham played the Witch at London’s Open Air Theatre in the critically acclaimed production of Into the Woods.
She originated The West Wicked Witch’s role in The Wizard of Oz’s West End production which opened at the London Palladium on 1 March 2011. On 4 September 2011, she left the company.
For her performance, Waddingham received the whatsonstage.com Theatregoers Choice Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Musical.
She played Suzanne Valadon in Lautrec by Charles Aznavour, for which she won two Musical Theater Prizes (for Best Actress and Best Newcomer).
