Elizabeth Jean Busy Philipps is an American actress and writer born in Oak Park, Illinois, United States, on June 25, 1979. She is well known for her appearance in the Freaks and Geeks television show, Dawson’s Creek, and ER.
She has won the Cougar Town series with “Critics Choice Television Honors.” She is Barbara Phillips’ firstborn, and Joseph Phillips. Her parents gave her the baby nickname Busy. And she had been so involved when she was just six months old.
She began her late-night talk show “Busy Tonight” that’s also why she was given the nickname by her mother. Busy attended high school in Scottsdale at Chaparral. Where she learned from teacher Deborah Carrick of high school theatre.
At the age of 14, she was raped by her boyfriend. Whom she refers to as Trey in the memoir. Then she was emotionally scarred and disclosed in her book Busy Tonight. She had an abortion at only 15 years. Busy Philipps completed her graduation at the Loyola Marymount University where she dated Colin Hanks for several years.
In high school, she worked the toy fair circuit as a real-life Barbie. Actress Sharon Stone was very impressed with Phillips’s performance and told that she would be a star. Busy became interested in acting when she in fourth grade and she also attended theatre camp.
